NAC Through shaft pneumatic air clutch
The NAC pneumatic air clutches are normally air –operated at pressure up to 6 bar/ 90 psi.
The maximum energy per engagement figures quoted is based on a frequency of engagement not exceeding 30 per hour.
The NAC pneumatic air clutch assembly comes lubricated and ready to install. Grease nipples are fitted to the piston and cylinder for periodic lubrication of the thrust bearing. Use a good grade bearing lubricant. Do not over grease.
NAC Pneumatic air clutch is linked with air pressure on, and restoration relying on spring to open up. Disc relies on air pressure to slide along the direction of the axis, contacting the friction plate. Disc, the friction board and so on, was assembling to the wheel to come into a integrated structure. Friction plate can be parted by screwing nuts.
