◆Large idling torque:
1. Check whether it is off-enter, if so, adjust it;
2. For dry friction electromagnetic clutches, check whether there is dust and oil between the dry friction plates;
◆ The armature plate is stuck or malfunctions:
1. Check the flatness of friction plate, replace it if uneven;
2. Check if the axial runout is too large or not, re-install it if too large;
3. Check if the hole chamfer is too small for the shaft, make it larger if too small;
4. Re-instal the magnetic roller on the spline if it's not installed correctl;
◆. Excessive wear of the friction plate:
1. Check whether it is installed correctly;
2. Check whether it is overloaded;
3. Check whether the runout is within range,when it caused by improper operation;
◆ The electromagnetic clutch is not connected:
It may causeb by no voltage, brush wear, poor brush contact, coil disconnection, and too large air gap during attraction;
Check the power supply, replace the brush, readjust, rewind the coil, and adjust the air gap;
◆ There is impact when connected:
It may caused by small gap, high voltage, and large torque;
Adjust the gap to the specified value, reduce the voltage, and change the clutch torque;
◆ The connection is over time or slipping:
It may caused by large air gap during attraction, high oil viscosity, poor brush contact, low voltage, dirty on friction plate, the clutch torque is small with improper torque selection, and overloaded;
If so, adjust the air gap, change oil, adjust or replace the brush, adjust the voltage to specified value, and reduce the loading.
◆ Abnormal heating:
It may caused by overload, long time connection, coil short circuit, etc.;
Reducing loading, increasing the torque, and rewinding the coil;
◆ The coil is short-circuited. Replaced or repaired it. Suggest to replace or modify the electromagnetic clutch circuit.
◆ Cannot start or unstable operation.
1. The input voltage may unstable. Make sure the power of power supply is about 1.5 times than the rated power of the electromagnetic clutch. Check the voltage and stabilize the voltage.
2. Another situation is that the friction heats up, and the coil burns out or shorts due to heat.
